Network Technician

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Network Technician in Bradenton, FL. Duties:

• Network Technician will configure, deploy, and support enterprise network infrastructure, including switches, access points, and wireless networks
• Install, configure, and maintain commercial networking equipment in enterprise environments
• Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues across wired and wireless networks
• Perform equipment lifecycle tasks including deployment, upgrades, replacements, and proper disposal
• Monitor network performance and assist with identifying and resolving potential issues
• As a Network Technician, you will document network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting steps
• Collaborate with IT and infrastructure teams to support business and operational needs
• Follow established standards, processes, and best practices for enterprise networking

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience as a Network Technician or in a similar networking role
• Experience supporting enterprise or commercial network environments
• Hands‑on experience with Cisco networking equipment
• Experience with configuring, deploying, troubleshooting, and decommissioning network hardware
• Strong understanding of:
  Enterprise switches;
  Wireless access points;
  Wireless networking concepts and configurations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a production environment

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
