Workday Application Administrator

Empath Health is seeking a detail-oriented Workday Enterprise Application Administrator
to join our Information Technology team. In this role, the Workday Enterprise Application Administrator drives organizational excellence through strategic Workday platform optimization that enhances operational efficiency, ensures regulatory compliance, and supports quality patient care delivery. The role safeguards organizational assets through comprehensive security protocols and disaster recovery planning while maintaining HIPAA compliance and protecting sensitive patient information.

• Design and implement comprehensive Workday system architecture that supports enterprise-wide HR, finance, and operational processes, ensuring seamless integration with existing healthcare systems and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Establish Workday governance frameworks and change control processes that maintain system integrity, minimize operational disruptions, and ensure all modifications align with organizational policies and healthcare industry standards.
• Lead cross-functional implementation teams to deliver Workday module deployments that meet project timelines, stay within budget parameters, and achieve defined business objectives across HRIS, Finance, and FP functions.
• Develop strategic technology roadmaps for Workday platform evolution that align with organizational growth objectives, anticipate future business needs, and maximize return on technology investments.
• Create system integration solutions that enable seamless data flow between Workday and critical healthcare applications, reducing manual processes and improving data accuracy across the enterprise.
• Optimize Workday system performance and user experience through configuration enhancements, workflow improvements, and interface design that increase user adoption and operational efficiency.
• Establish comprehensive security protocols and access controls within Workday that protect sensitive employee and financial data while maintaining compliance with HIPAA, SOX, and other healthcare regulatory requirements
• Design disaster recovery and business continuity plans for Workday systems that ensure minimal downtime, protect critical data, and maintain essential business operations during system disruptions.

• A Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline or equivalent work experience
• Extensive working knowledge of Workday
• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience administering the Workday platform, including configuration, security, business process design, and integrations
