Talent Acquisition Specialist
Location: 5213 4th Avenue Circle East, Bradenton, Florida 34208
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Salary: $58,141.44 - $75,583.87 per year

Job Summary: Coordinates the talent acquisition program for Manatee County Government, tracks recruitment results, develops and implements recruiting plans and marketing strategies, fulfills staffing needs, and engages in organization‑wide recruitment marketing projects.
Working ConditionsIndoor office environment. Lifting and carrying relevant recruiting equipment and materials up to 25 lbs.
Responsibilities- Serve as brand ambassador and use multi‑channel recruiting processes to fill vacancies, including internet, social networking, search, college recruiting, job fairs, and external events.
- Work 배 with hiring managers to understand organizational needs and make recommendations to leadership on marketing strategies to attract top talent.
- Lead the creation of recruiting plans for open positions.
- Research and recommend more efficient recruitment practices; identify and implement cost‑effective ways to simplify, standardize, and automate recruitment processes, and train staff on new technology.
- Develop creative sourcing strategies to attract top applicants through online social networking, job boards, and local media sources, maintaining an ongoing diverse pipeline.
- Build networks across industries and community to develop a strong network of cooperating contacts, agencies, and former employees.
- Execute and oversee social media communications on appropriate platforms, creating blogs, videos, and graphics to brand Manatee County Government as an employer of choice.
- Report progress on assigned job vacancies regularly, communicate early warnings, and provide feedback about recruitment performance.
- Partner and collaborate with Employment Services Manager and Human Resources Hanna to develop and implement innovative short‑ and long‑term recruitment strategies.
- Perform other related work, including duties during weather or other emergencies, as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Three (3) or more years progressively responsible experience as a recruiter or talent acquisition specialist.
- Valid Florida driver's license within 30 days of hire.
- Comparable combination of work experience and training may substitute for education requirements.
- Experience with internet recruiting and social networking is desired.
