Responsibilities

Responsible for providing housekeeping services to create a sparkling clean, hygienic, and safe environment that is patient and family centered.

Routinely cleans patient rooms in a timely manner after discharge, and may also clean nursing units, surgical areas, offices, laboratory areas, waiting areas, public restrooms, and other areas as assigned.

Responsible for providing linen services throughout the facility and monitoring the facility with a critical eye to catch items that need cleaning and attention. Uses cleaning supplies and equipment as regulated to provide a safe cleaning environment.

Demonstrates service excellence at all times. Other duties assigned as needed.

Educational Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED – Preferred.

Required Experience:

Minimum one (1) year of housekeeping experience – Preferred.
