The Perinatal Sonographer III demonstrates advanced knowledge and skills in the management of diagnostic testing. The candidate demonstrates focused critical thinking, integrates multi-system implications and provides anticipatory observation and management for predictable events. They demonstrate interdisciplinary collaboration and an outcome‑oriented approach to care.
Qualifications- Graduate of an approved diagnostic medical sonography program with a minimum of five years’ experience; additional clinical experience or credentials may be considered in lieu of some education.
- Specialty registry through ARDMS or CCI.
- 5+ years of experience as a sonographer. Perinatal sonography experience is required.
- Dual registries preferred (e.g., fetal echocardiography, pediatric echocardiography, nuchal translucency, advanced cardiac sonographer, registered cardiac sonographer, or adult echo).
- Current BLS certification (AHA).
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
Limited (20 hours per week), Day Shift, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. No weekend or holiday work. The position is located at the West Manatee Health Center in Bradenton, FL (three days per week).
Salary RangeMinimum $36.52/hour – Maximum $58.44/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
