Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join the respiratory care team at Manatee Memorial Hospital. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with adult and NICU populations, demonstrating expertise in ventilator management, airway care, and cardiopulmonary monitoring.
Requirements:
• License:
Active Florida RRT license (required)

Experience:
Minimum 2 years of recent Respiratory Therapy experience

Certifications:
- BLS – Basic Life Support
- ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- NRP – Neonatal Resuscitation Program
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer respiratory therapy in accordance with physician prescriptions and facility protocols.
• Perform diagnostic evaluations, including obtaining and analyzing physiological specimens, and conducting cardiopulmonary system tests.
• Manage and monitor mechanical ventilatory support, artificial airway care, and bronchopulmonary hygiene.
• Administer and monitor pharmacologic agents related to respiratory care procedures.
• Provide cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, hemodynamic cardiovascular support, and patient/family education on respiratory management.
• Ensure adherence to safety and infection control standards in all respiratory procedures.
