Position Summary
Reporting to the Practice Manager, the Medical Assistant is responsible for performing a wide variety of patient care duties which include assisting in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician. Responsibilities include interviewing patients, measuring vital signs, venipuncture, and other procedures as directed by the physician within the scope of practice in the State.
- Documentation recorded in Electronic Medical Record in accordance with MPA guideline.
- Prepare treatment rooms for examination of patients.
- Assists in covering front desk as required.
- General medical procedures.
- Understand end of day cash balancing and charge reconciliations process.
- Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.

- Medical Assistant Certificate required or must be able to obtain certification within 6 months of employment.
- Familiarity with medical terminology required.
- Experience with patient check‑in and check‑out procedures.
- Minimum of 1 year of medical experience preferred.
- Reliability, responsibility and dependability required.
- Detail‑oriented and thorough in completing work tasks.
