Physical Therapy Assistant

Max Health is looking to hire a full-time licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to work in our 2 Bradenton locations to provide superior care, helping patients improve their movement and manage their pain from chronic conditions or injuries.

Locations: Bradenton — 2 days/week on Manatee Ave W and 3 days/week on 53rd Ave

Candidates must carry their own liability insurance.

As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will:

• Prepare patients for treatments by welcoming and comforting them and guiding them to the waiting room
• Prepare treatment rooms by following prescribed procedures and protocols
• Educate patients on proper use of equipment and exercise routines
• Sterilize treatment areas and supplies and maintain the location s supply inventory

• Have completed professional degree
• Hold a valid Physical Therapy Assistant license
• Proficient in modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation
• Strong communication and customer service skills at all levels of interaction
• Knowledge of medical terminology; computer skills; preferably experience with EMR/EHR
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize; ability to function well in a fast-paced environment
