Vice President - Finance

Empath Health is seeking a dynamic Vice President of Finance that will work closely with our CFO to help direct the strategic financial operations of the organization.

• Oversee all financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and timeliness of financial statements to support informed decision-making.
• Drive financial innovation by identifying new revenue opportunities and cost-saving initiatives while maintaining a focus on quality care.
• Assist the CFO in developing and executing long-range financial strategies, including capital planning, service line profitability analysis, and financial modeling for new initiatives or partnerships.
• Conduct operational and financial analysis to support value-based care models and alternative payment methodologies.
• Serve as the principal point of contact for the Division leaders, providing comprehensive financial reporting, actionable insights to improve financial performance and efficiency, and strategic analysis.
• Partner with Revenue Cycle leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting related to patient billing, collections, and reimbursement, and identify opportunities to improve cash flow and reduce revenue leakage.

• CPA Preferred
• Experience with Finance, Accounting, Receivables, A/P, Payroll etc.
• Healthcare Experience Required
• Large Corporation Experience Required with $1 Billion Dollar Plus Corporations
• Experience Leading Large Teams Required
• On-site, This role will work onsite at our Lakewood Ranch Executive Office
