Park Team Member

Overview

OBJECTIVE: Team Members are the initial contact between guests and Kids Empire. They are responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction and addressing any questions or comments that guests may have while present at Kids Empire. Team Member workers perform many tasks with the families and peers throughout the park to ensure the guests are having an excellent and safe time while at Kids Empire.

• Attending customers as quickly as possible, greeting them accordingly, and making them feel comfortable in the ambiance of the park.
• Operating the check-in process by having guests sign the liability waiver and collect guest information such as address, name, email address, and phone number using an IPAD.
• Operating the front cash counter for receiving the exact bill amount from the guests, managing cash flow by recording transactions daily, taking payment from guests by cash or card, and providing exact change if paid by cash.
• Verifying billing transactions by checking the amount displayed on the POS.
• Organizing the refrigerator with drinks, snacks, chips, and ice cream.
• Checking snack inventory and communicating with management to order snacks from specified vendors to replenish stock.
• Walking the floor to monitor for unsafe hazards and ensure guests follow park attendance rules, regulations, and guidelines.
• Cleaning restrooms and sanitizing all park structures (e.g., tables, chairs, playground structures).
• Assisting and participating in family events and ensuring events operate efficiently.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Stand, walk, bend, twist constantly.
• Frequent bilateral hand movements.
• Good finger dexterity.
• Must be able to work in noisy environments created by guests (children yelling and music).
• Must be able to tolerate a hectic and busy work environment during scheduled hours.
• Must be comfortable with heights and tight spaces.
