The Preschool Care & Nutrition Aide supports the daily operation of the preschool by assisting in both classroom care and meal preparation. This role helps ensure children receive safe supervision, nutritious meals, and a clean, organized environment while supporting teachers and staff as needed.
Classroom & Childcare Support- Step into classrooms to support ratios, breaks, and transitions
- Support children’s social, emotional, and developmental needs
- Model positive behavior and use appropriate guidance strategies
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment
- Assist with preparing and serving meals and snacks according to center menus
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and allergy guidelines
- Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, dishes, and food preparation surfaces
- Support proper food storage and labeling
