We’re looking for a seasoned Infectious Diseases ACE (Allucent Center of Expertise) Therapeutic Strategy Head to join our A‑team. In this role you will shape and drive the organization’s Infectious Diseases strategy, integrating scientific, operational, and commercial perspectives to ensure the successful capture and delivery of infectious disease trials. You will bridge therapeutic insight with internal SMEs to create differentiated operational solutions for Allucent’s clients.

While you will have no direct reports, you will have matrixed oversight of therapeutic‑aligned project leadership and SME resources to enable portfolio performance management.

• Partner to develop, define, and execute Allucent’s overarching ACE Infectious Diseases strategy that aligns with corporate and market opportunity goals across all phases of drug development.
• Serve as an internal Infectious Diseases expert and provide leadership across high‑value opportunities.
• Lead discussions around innovative and efficient operational models for Infectious Diseases trials, leveraging multidisciplinary scientific and operational expertise.
• Direct the development of a therapeutic ecosystem of internal and external SMEs & partners to differentiate Allucent’s go‑to‑market offering.

• Accountable for delivery performance across the Infectious Diseases portfolio, ensuring studies meet or exceed quality, timeline, and budget expectations.
• Establish and monitor leading and lagging operational and financial KPIs specific to Infectious Diseases to enable proactive portfolio performance management.
• Lead operational governance for key clients in the Infectious Diseases portfolio, providing strategic oversight and escalation support as required.
• Champion operational innovation—such as decentralized or hybrid trial models, real‑world data integration, and digital solutions—to enhance study efficiency.
• Partner with Medical, Biostatistics, Regulatory, and Data Operations to ensure trials are strategically and operationally optimized.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of delivery solutions across the portfolio.

• Partner with Marketing and Business Development and internal/external SMEs to position Allucent as a thought leader in the Infectious Diseases drug‑development space.
• Lead operational strategy development for key opportunities to support improved opportunity capture.
• Cultivate relationships with key sponsors, thought leaders, and academic collaborators.
• Identify new growth opportunities, including emerging indications, novel modalities, and biomarker‑driven strategies.

• Participate as a key contributor to the executive operational leadership team for Allucent.
• Provide mentorship and leadership to therapeutic leads, project directors, and operational teams within Infectious Diseases.

• Advanced degree in life sciences (MS, PhD, or equivalent). Background in Infectious Diseases or related field preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of clinical research and development experience with a focus on Infectious Diseases within a CRO, pharma, or biotech environment.
• Demonstrated success leading Infectious Diseases programs or portfolios across multiple indications and study phases.
• Proven ability to align therapeutic insight with operational strategy.
• Strong experience collaborating with and influencing across multiple scientific and operational disciplines.
• Track record of client engagement, operational strategy, and managing large portfolios of work to achieve commercial and delivery goals.
• Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and operational insight.
• Excellent communicator, capable of translating scientific and operational concepts for diverse audiences.
