About Wise Glow

Wise Glow UK Ltd is an EU based renewable energy company specialising in commercial solar PV systems, battery energy storage, EV charging infrastructure, and long-term asset support services.

With 18 years of combined industry experience, Wise Glow supports organisations across the UK in reducing energy costs, improving sustainability performance, and securing long-term energy resilience. Projects are delivered across rooftop, ground-mounted, and carport installations, with a strong focus on technical quality, compliance, and customer outcomes.

Role Summary

Wise Glow is expanding its national sales capability and is seeking experienced, motivated Sales Consultants to drive new business across England and Wales.

This position is suited to individuals who are comfortable owning the full sales lifecycle — from prospecting and early engagement through to proposal development and contract closure. The role combines technical understanding of solar PV and energy solutions with a consultative, value-led sales approach.

The opportunity offers autonomy, flexible working arrangements, and strong earning potential for candidates who can consistently convert high-quality opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new sales opportunities within commercial, industrial, and agricultural markets.
  • Manage the full sales process, including lead qualification, customer consultation, proposal development, and deal conversion.
  • Work collaboratively with engineering, design, and delivery teams to ensure solutions are technically viable and commercially sound.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and CRM records to support revenue planning.
  • Deliver professional quotations and proposals aligned with regulatory, technical, and internal standards.
  • Ensure a clear and structured handover to project delivery teams following contract award.
  • Represent Wise Glow at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.
  • Build long-term client relationships that generate repeat business and referrals.
  • Share market intelligence and customer insight to inform product development and sales strategy.
Performance Measures
  • Achievement of individual sales revenue and margin targets.
  • Conversion of qualified opportunities into deliverable, profitable projects.
  • High levels of customer satisfaction and repeat engagement.
  • Contribution to Wise Glow’s growth and brand recognition within the UK renewable energy market.
Skills and Experience Required
  • Proven success in B2B sales, ideally within renewable energy, construction, or building services.
  • Working knowledge of solar PV systems and commercial energy solutions.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-sufficiency in lead generation and opportunity development.
  • High level of commercial awareness and deal ownership.
  • Competence with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Full UK driving licence and ability to travel to client sites.
  • Access to a suitable laptop for remote and hybrid working.
Advantageous
  • Experience with PV design or yield assessment tools (e.g. PVsyst, PVSol).
  • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one.
  • Understanding of UK health, safety, and construction compliance requirements.
Personal Profile
  • Results-driven and commercially focused, with a genuine interest in renewable energy.
  • Confident, credible, and able to build trust with senior stakeholders.
  • Organised, resilient, and comfortable working independently.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to create opportunities rather than rely on inbound demand.
