Panasonic is offering the opportunity to work at the forefront of innovation within Consumer electricals. This role is part of the Imaging team, focusing on Mirrorless and Compact cameras under the LUMIX brand. You will support the management and marketing teams throughout a 13‑month industrial placement.

• Regularly update weekly reports and develop a thorough understanding of market forecasts and data.
• Analyse market data monthly, create and present PowerPoint presentations to senior management on key insights.
• Monitor sales and advertising activity on Amazon and suggest optimisations for campaigns.
• Assist in organising and executing promotional activities and events.
• Liaise with colleagues in Europe and Japan regarding products, stock, and marketing materials.
• Manage the process for creating local kits and bundles.
• Order stock from factories or other sales companies in Europe; arrange deliveries and collections of stock between EU countries and the UK; make decisions on stock orders from central for the UK.
• Take responsibility for product setup and price setting.
• Maintain strong communication between product, sales, and brand communications teams to support sales and marketing actions.
• Update web content for online retailers and influence how products are marketed online.
• Assist with the business planning process during the placement.
• Take charge of the recruitment process to find the next student after your placement ends.

• Current university student enrolled in a course with an integrated industrial placement year.
• Proactive, initiative‑driven and able to complete tasks without supervision.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to explain complex ideas verbally and in writing.
• Excellent problem‑solving ability and ability to develop innovative solutions.
• Capable of working independently and within a team environment.
• Good time‑management and ability to prioritise workload in an organised fashion.
• Self‑management of responsibilities and ownership of daily tasks.
• Team player, working in harmony with others.
• Strong drive to succeed within a corporate environment, finding ways to facilitate Panasonic UK’s growth.
• Interest in commercial marketing and/or consumer electronics (audio, imaging, personal care, kitchen).

Salary range: £25,600 per annum

Annual Leave: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays

Contract Type: Fixed Term 13 month contract

Hours: 37.5 Full‑time

Location: Bracknell

Hybrid working: Up to three days office‑based working requirement

Travel Requirements: Occasional travel may be required
