We are working with a Housing Association who are seeking a Communal Services Cleaner to support the delivery of high-quality cleaning services across their residential estates.
This is a practical, front-line role focused on maintaining clean, safe, and well-presented communal areas for residents. The successful candidate will work across multiple sites, ensuring cleaning standards are consistently met in line with agreed specifications and health & safety requirements.

Key responsibilities
Clean communal entrances, stairwells, corridors, bin stores, and other identified areas
Carry out sweeping, vacuuming, washing of floors, walls, doors, and fixtures
Clean internal windows, carry out litter picking, graffiti removal, and carpet cleaning
Use hazard signage and follow health & safety procedures at all times
Complete digital records of work completed using mobile devices
Organise workload efficiently to maximise productivity
Ensure materials and equipment are available, used correctly, and stored safely
Maintain accurate records relating to materials, fuel usage, and time spent on works
Ensure cleaning equipment and vehicles (where applicable) are kept safe, secure, and serviceable Requirements
Previous experience in a communal cleaning or similar role, ideally within social housing
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and mechanical devices
Full UK driving licence (essential)
Ability to use a mobile phone or tablet for basic reporting and e-learning
Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach
Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards
