We are seeking a talented individual to join our Financial Planning team in Bracknell. If you are based in Reading or the M4 corridor, travel to visit clients in the Home Counties is expected. There is flexibility about regular office presence in Bracknell.
Responsibilities- Look after and support client needs. Build new client relationships and maintain existing relationships through effective ongoing service to minimise attrition and to deliver new instructions and referrals from satisfied clients.
- Execute the annual Business Plan in line with agreed individual targets.
- Structure and lead client meetings professionally, ensuring information and advice are up to date, technically accurate and aligned with clients needs.
- Ensure clients receive the right advice to achieve their financial objectives, considering factors such as retirement planning, inheritance, and tax efficiency for individual clients.
- Ensure client reviews are undertaken at least annually in line with changing risk attitudes and strategic requirements.
- Work in partnership with Investment Management (IM) and Professional Services (PS) colleagues to develop client relationships.
- Build and maintain COIs to initiate and nurture close relationships with professional advisers.
- Maintain the New Business Pipeline (NBP) with up-to-date values and dates.
- Ensure comprehensive client records are kept accurately and up to date in line with Group policy.
- Aim for no complaints; where received, raise with the Client Resolution team promptly and assist in achieving a satisfactory resolution.
- Maintain knowledge and skills in line with industry, regulatory and internal requirements through regular CPD to reach full potential for the benefit of the Group.
- Proven ability to deal with new and existing clients on a fee basis.
- Ability to understand and communicate advice practices and processes clearly and effectively.
- Ability to analyse client information and highlight requirements to make suitable recommendations. Experience with in a risk management framework.
- Technical/product knowledge and effective communication of holistic financial planning strategies and solutions.
- Strong client service ethic; ability to work under pressure and prioritise work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to understand and communicate advice practices and processes clearly and effectively.
- Understanding of risks pertaining to a private client business.
- Holds a relevant level 4 qualification or above (aspiring for Level
7) and maintains an up-to-date Statement of Professional Standing.
