Join Our Dedicated Team as a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant!
Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children and young people with a diverse range of educational needs? We are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated, and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to join our supportive school environment.
About the RoleWe cater to pupils aged 2 to 19 with a variety of complex needs, including:
- Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)
- Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD)
- Profound and Multiple Learning Needs (PMLD)
- Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
As an SEN TA, you will be instrumental in supporting pupils' learning, development, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Provide tailored support to individual pupils or small groups in the classroom, helping them access a broad, balanced, and vibrant curriculum.
- Work collaboratively with a range of professionals (e.g., Teachers, Therapists, Health professionals) to meet the individual needs of all our pupils.
- Assist in the preparation of resources and the classroom environment.
- Support pupils with personal care and mobility needs as required.
- Help to maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning atmosphere.
- Contribute to the school's high expectations for all pupils and staff.
- Experience working with children or young people, ideally those with SEN
