Dealer Trade Clerk

POSITION SUMMARY:

Dealer Trade Clerk is primarily responsible for all incoming and outgoing dealer trades and cash reconciliation. ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Processes incoming and outgoing dealer trades.
• Verifies costs for the Accounting Department including costs of equipment add-ons.
• Prepares MSOs, documentation, and payment.
• Verifies that funds have been collected for outgoing dealer trades and ensure that MSOs have been received for incoming vehicles.
• Monitor and maintain accurate dealer trade inventory accounts.
• Process all TRAC invoices and payments.
• Process all wholesales.
• Reconcile daily cashier deposits and maintain accurate cash clearing schedules.
• Following and making improvements to the cash handling procedure.
• Reconcile daily Toyota, GM, Quick Lube, and Body Shop deposits.
• Ensure cash procedures are being followed.
• Notify management immediately of any discrepancies in cash in hand.
• Maintain all schedules assigned.

• Follow procedures and policies set forth by management, the Employee Handbook and the Non-DOT Drug and Alcohol Policy.
• Keep a neat and orderly work station.
• Be willing to perform necessary tasks outside of normally assigned duties and responsibilities to help the GM Office operate productively and efficiently.

• Any other duties as assigned by management.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• One year of office experience preferred
