Assistant Manager

Overview

We are looking for an Assistant Manager to join our team at Circle K in Bozeman, MT. The role requires leadership in a fast-paced, fun environment, with a focus on maintaining high service standards and supporting the Store Manager’s operations.

• Assist the Store Manager with day‑to‑day oversight of store operations.
• Help with hiring, supervising, and coaching staff to accomplish daily tasks and maintain merchandising standards.
• Maintain high customer service standards, providing fast and friendly service.
• Ensure regular on‑site attendance and adherence to company policies.
• Execute high‑standard food program procedures and lead by example for staff.

• Retail experience, preferably in a supervisory or management capacity.
• Recruiting, interviewing, and hiring skills; experience handling food is a plus.
• High school diploma or college degree required.
• Strong leadership, communication, team building, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Cash handling, bookkeeping, and safety and security knowledge.

• Stand or walk up to 8 hours; lift up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead.
• Occasionally lift 60 pounds from ground to waist level.
• Push/pull with arms up to 20 pounds; bend at waist with twisting for up to one hour.
• Climb ladders to retrieve materials or place/remove signs.
