The Manager in Training (MIT) partners with the store manager and teams to achieve sales goals, drive a customer‑focused environment, manage talent and performance, and uphold visual standards. The MIT will complete a structured training program preparing them for a store manager role within 3–6 months, and will be expected to relocate to the specified store.

• Customer Obsession – create and demonstrate fashion‑focused store environments by delivering product knowledge and fashion expertise to customers.
• Sales Management – analyze store performance, adjust plans to achieve sales goals, and manage payroll hours to sustain profitability.
• Visual & Operational Execution – assess visual needs, implement promotional changes, maintain store cleanliness, and enforce company direction and policies.
• Talent Management – hire, train, develop, and coach associates; provide positive and corrective feedback and grow talent using company programs.
• Team Leadership – lead by example, make sound decisions, and foster a positive working climate.

• High School Diploma or GED required; business or retail merchandising degree preferred.
• Supervisory experience in a customer‑focused environment, preferably in fashion.
• Proven track record of setting and achieving goals and executing company direction.
• Strong hiring, promotion, and motivation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to persevere in the face of resistance and setbacks.
• Commitment to a specific store location or group of stores.

• Work varied hours/days as business dictates.
• Able to reach, push, pull, stand, squat, and bend for up to 8 hours.
• Able to use all store equipment and operate the computerized register system.
• Able to move merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds.
