Travel RN - Labor & Delivery

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Montana, requiring at least 1 year of L&D or PACU experience and a Montana or Compact RN license.

Job Details

• Labor & Delivery unit in a hospital setting,

• Patient population includes laboring patients, postpartum couplets, and triage cases,

• Performs circulating, PACU, triage, and transition nurse duties,

• Floating to the Mother/Baby unit to care for couplets is required,

• Variable shift schedule,

• 6-week contract,

Job Requirements

• Active Montana (MT) or Compact RN license currently in hand,

• Current certifications required: NRP, BLS (AHA), and ACLS (AHA),

• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery RN or PACU experience required,

• Must reside at least 90 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position,

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include patient assessment, developing and implementing individualized care plans, health teaching, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams,

• Must be prepared to function in multiple roles including triage, circulating, PACU, and transition nurse,

• Provides age-appropriate, culturally sensitive care across the L&D continuum,

• COVID-19 vaccine is not required for this position
