AboutThe Role
We’re hiring two Production Specialist I team members to join our Wader Maker Team. This is a hands‑on opportunity to learn a specialized trade and be part of the team that produces the finest waders in the fishing market. We’re willing to train the right candidates, especially those who bring attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a positive, team‑oriented mindset.
WhatYou’ll Do
Manufacturing & Assembly
- Operate industrial sewing machines to assemble wader components
- Apply seam‑sealing techniques to ensure waterproof integrity
- Cut and prepare fabric panels according to patterns and specifications
- Assemble components using hot and cold presses
- Install zippers, pockets, gravel guards, straps, buckles, and booties
Quality & Testing
- Perform pressure and leak testing
- Inspect finished products for defects, sizing accuracy, and durability
- Document and report defects or production issues
Packaging & Workflow
- Package finished goods with proper labeling and documentation
- Follow Kanban processes to ensure efficient workflow
- Maintain consistent attention to craftsmanship during repetitive tasks
Team & Safety
- Communicate effectively with teammates, leads, and supervisors
- Clean and maintain machines and work spaces
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement

- Maintaining a clean, safe, organized workspace
- Communicating proactively about production needs or issues
- Thriving in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
What You Bring:
- 1 year of experience in a fast‑paced or production environment preferred
- Manufacturing, sewing, or assembly experience is a plus, but not required
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliability and punctuality
- Willingness to learn new skills and processes
- Flexibility as workflow needs change
- Ability to work well within a team
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Equivalent experience may substitute for formal education
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
- Perform repetitive tasks with manual dexterity
- Lift up to 20 lbs
- Comfortable working in a production environment with varying temperatures
Hourly Rate: $17.50 - $20.20. The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
