About The Role
Under general supervision of the Facilities Manager and in conformance with established policies and procedures, Facilities Tech I is responsible for maintenance repairs of bank properties and equipment, and related functions.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Provide prompt and courteous service to all internal and external customers, supporting the goals and mission of the bank.
- On a regular rotating schedule, perform visual structural damage and security checks for the main bank. Change security sign for employees to enter by 7am as long as it is safe to do so. Report all problems to the manager or President or Security Officer.
- Clean sidewalks, parking lots and grounds year-round in all weather conditions including snow removal on Main Bank properties using a plow, a shovel, or a snow blower. Mow and trim grass, maintain the irrigation system and complete other duties related to landscaping and lawn work.
- Monitor customer and rental parking lots and sidewalks for parking violations and skateboarding/roller blading; issue warning tickets to violators and, when necessary, contact the police department to report violations. Report problems or unusual occurrences to supervisor for follow-up.
- Greet customers as they enter and leave the bank.
- Complete and track City Parking violations.
- As needed, assist armored security personnel to access the building for deliveries.
- Monitor freight and package deliveries and notify appropriate departments when items are delivered.
- Perform safety check of boiler and air handler systems as scheduled by the manager, including weekends and holidays, to ensure proper operation.
- Monitor and maintain equipment to ensure proper operation and report problems to the manager or President.
- Stay up to date with maintenance computer programs including HVAC Metasys, Lighting programs, and fire suppression system.
- Perform maintenance duties including, but not limited to, painting, carpentry, plumbing and electrical work.
- Become familiar with and periodically review the bank’s robbery recovery procedures.
- Occasionally design and build structural bank equipment (e.g., carts, bulletin boards).
- Move and arrange desks, furniture and partitions as needed.
- Perform additional tasks and projects assigned by the manager.
- Provide back-up in ordering janitorial, kitchen and maintenance supplies.
- Assist Branch Locations as time allows.
- Regular and predictable attendance to accomplish job duties and provide in-person contact with customers.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalency.
- Two or more years of maintenance experience; preferably in a large commercial building environment.
- Knowledge of and experience in all areas of maintenance, including painting, carpentry, plumbing and electrical work.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and a driving record acceptable to our insurer.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, ABILITY:
- Demonstrated computer skills to troubleshoot maintenance issues, for communication and record keeping. Including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Must have math skills to include the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure.
- Must be detail oriented and have the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished orally and in writing.
- Ability to manage time and meet deadlines.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment in handling confidential and sensitive information.
- Must exhibit professional and friendly attitude and must possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be able to routinely perform work both indoors in a climate-controlled shared work area with a moderate noise level, and outside in sometimes inclement weather or potentially difficult/hazardous conditions.
