Night Shift Care Giver

Compensation: $19.00–$21.00 per hour

Help residents live with purpose each day through whole-person support in our assisted living and memory care community. Your care keeps daily life comfortable, safe, and dignified so residents and their families can focus on living well.

• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility)
• Provide companionship and purposeful engagement throughout the day
• Support dining, hydration, and basic housekeeping tasks that promote a safe, clean environment
• Observe and promptly report changes in condition; document care per policy
• Follow infection control, safety, and emergency procedures
• Assist with transfers and mobility using safe techniques and equipment
• Partner with team members and families to honor resident preferences and routines

• Heart for service with patience, compassion, and professionalism
• Strong communication, intuition, and problem-solving skills
• Adaptable; comfortable pivoting as resident needs change
• Team player who accepts feedback and builds positive relationships
• Willingness to learn about dementia and support residents living with cognitive change

• Prior work or volunteer experience in assisted living, memory care, or caregiving
• Hospitality, healthcare, or customer service roles
• Multi-tasking positions where kindness and reliability mattered
• Volunteer experience with vulnerable groups

• At least 18 years of age
• CPR & First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to obtain required state caregiving license (if applicable)
• Current negative TB test
• Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout shift; transfer up to 50 lbs with assistance
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Strong time management; able to work independently with minimal oversight
