* Position Summary:

** Performs general nuclear medicine examinations, including on call services, therapeutic procedures and PET/CT patient exams in a hospital based, acute care environment.
*
* Minimum Qualifications:

*** Graduate of an Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) accredited program
** or
* * equivalent.  
* American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in nuclear medicine
** or
* * Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB)
* American Heart Association BLS within 60 days of hire
* * Preferred:
* One (1) year post-graduate work experience as a registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist

* Essential Job Functions:

** In addition to the essential functions of the job listed below, employees must have on-time completion of all required education as assigned per DNV requirements, Bozeman Health policy, and other registry requirements.
* Performs nuclear medicine quality control measures, patient exams and procedures as requested by the medical staff.
* Assists the Radiologists and other medical staff during exams and procedures.
* Performs ancillary duties as required to maintain proper distribution, billing and archival of exams and procedures
* Completes documentation for all information required for proper interpretation, reporting, archiving and retrieval of exams.
* Verifies written/electronic orders and related health information to insure the timely performance and reporting of NM exams and procedures.
* Participates in the implementation, monitoring and improvement of the hospital quality indicators as described in the strategic plan.
* Completes appropriate documentation for the administration, receipt/return, decay and disposal of radioactive materials in compliance for state and/or federal regulations.

** Schedule Requirements
*** This role requires regular and sustained attendance.
* The position may necessitate working beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends and after-hours shifts.
* On-call work may be required to respond promptly to organizational, patient, or employee needs.
