Interior Design Non‑Tenure Track Faculty – Gallatin College

Appointments may be on a part‑time basis and vary in duration, a couple weeks, a semester or an academic year, depending on the specific needs of the department or program. Salary is dependent on the number of courses taught and duration.

Gallatin College seeks qualified individuals to provide non‑tenure track level instruction and/or related functions. The department or program search committees or hiring authority will review and evaluate the submitted application materials. Applicants will be notified if their application is being retained in the non‑tenure track faculty hiring pool.

Gallatin College seeks course instructors to teach in Bozeman in one or more of the following specialty areas:

• Interior Design topics including intro to and history of design, presentation drawing, space planning, architectural construction and materials, environmental design, textiles and interior finishes, kitchen & bath, light & color, and digital software including Revit and Sketch Up.

• Academic degree in English, education, or related fields.
• Demonstrated experience working with and engaging various students and colleagues within and outside the department.

• AA or higher degree in Interior Design.
• Five or more years of teaching experience.
• Five or more years in the Interior Design industry.
• Demonstrated commitment to student, faculty, and staff enrichment.
