Photonics & Laser Technology Non-Tenure Track Faculty - Gallatin College

BriefPosition Overview
Gallatin College seeks non-tenure track faculty for the Photonics & Laser Technology program.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesGallatin College seeks course instructors to teach in Bozeman in one or more of the following specialty areas:
- Electronics
- Optics/Lasers/Photonics
- Academic degree in Physics, Engineering or related fields
- Demonstrated experience working with and engaging various students and colleagues within and outside the department
- Master’s degree in Physics or Engineering
- Prior teaching experience
- Understanding of the two-year college mission
- Demonstrated commitment to student, faculty, and staff enrichment
- Work professionally and effectively with individuals and groups
- Possess effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Have the ability to contribute positively to the academic success of the students and the mission of Gallatin College Montana State University

The ProgramStudents completing the AAS in Photonics and Laser Technology will learn the scientific principles of optics, fiber-optics and lasers. Technicians will be instructed on processes and equipment for these devices in electronic and electro-optics systems. This Associate of Applied Science will prepare students for entry-level employment as photonics or photonics-related technicians.
