This role offers the opportunity to shape Bushnell’s global growth strategy while working within a collaborative, performance-driven organization. The Bushnell Director of Global Sales will play a critical role in expanding Bushnell’s presence internationally while strengthening core markets through disciplined sales management, pricing strategy, and cross-functional collaboration. This role sits within the Outdoor Performance Global Commercial team and is responsible for driving sustainable revenue growth, managing distributor partnerships, and aligning regional sales execution with brand, product, and financial objectives.
This position reports to the VP, Global Commercial, and is based onsite in our Bozeman office.
- Develop and execute a global sales strategy that drives revenue growth, profitability, and market share across key regions.
- Translate corporate and brand strategies into actionable regional and distributor-level plans.
- Own global revenue targets, forecasts, and performance tracking.
- Lead and manage Bushnell’s international distributor network, including onboarding, performance management, and long-term partnership development.
- Evaluate distributor capabilities, market coverage, and compliance with brand and commercial standards.
- Identify new international market opportunities and recommend go-to-market approaches (direct vs. distributor-led).
- Partner with Finance and Product teams to develop and manage international pricing strategies, including margin targets, currency considerations, and channel pricing discipline.
- Ensure pricing alignment across regions while accounting for local market dynamics and competitive landscapes.
- Support contract negotiations and commercial terms with key global partners.
- Lead, coach, and develop regional sales leaders and key account managers as applicable.
- Establish clear performance expectations, KPIs, and development plans for the sales organization.
- Foster a high-performance, accountable sales culture aligned with Bushnell’s values.
- Build and maintain senior-level relationships with key global customers and distributors.
- Support strategic account planning and major negotiations as needed.
- Ensure consistent execution across wholesale, specialty, and international channels.
- Partner closely with Marketing, Product, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure brand consistency, product readiness, and demand alignment.
- Provide market feedback to inform product development, assortment planning, and launch strategies.
- Stay current on competitive activity, consumer trends, and new product introductions globally.
- Own global sales forecasting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Monitor performance metrics and recommend corrective actions where needed.
- Deliver clear, data-driven updates to senior leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- 8–12 years of progressive sales experience, including leadership roles.
- Demonstrated experience in international sales and global distributor management.
- Strong understanding of international pricing models, margin management, and commercial negotiations.
- Proven ability to lead teams, influence cross-functionally, and manage complexity across regions.
- Experience with in the sporting goods, outdoor, or consumer products industry strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, forecasting tools, and standard business software.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
