Position SummaryRidgeline Excavation is seeking a highly organized and motivated Operations Support Administrator to support our growing team. This role goes beyond traditional front desk responsibilities and plays a critical role in supporting payroll coordination, compliance documentation, onboarding, and day-to-day office and organization operations.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to build experience in business operations, construction management, compliance, and organizational leadership within a fast-paces, team-oriented environment.
Core Responsibilities Office & Front Desk Support- Manage incoming calls and direct inquiries appropriately in-between Bozeman and Jackson offices and field.
- Receive deliveries and manage office mail
- Maintain professional office organization
- Coordinate meeting logistics and office supply management
- Assist in tracking weekly timecard submissions from field supervisors
- Assist in organize payroll documentation for leadership review
- Assist in maintaining driver qualification files (CDL, medical cards, etc.)
- Assist in tracking compliance deadlines and certification expirations
- Organize DOT and FMCSA documentation
- Maintain digital filing systems for compliance and insurance
- Prepare onboarding packets for new hires
- Assist with employee documentation tracking
- Maintain personnel records in accordance with company policy
- Support Director of Operations with employee housing coordination
- Maintain organized digital and physical filling systems
- Support cross-department administrative needs
- Assist Director of Operations with special projects
- Bachelor's degree (Business, Constructions Management, Finance, or related field) or equivalent work experience
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to manage confidential information
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Internship experience in business, construction, or operations
- Familiarity with payroll systems or timekeeping software
- Interest in construction or project management
- Experience managing administrative documentation
- Detail-oriented and structured thinker
- Comfortable working with documentation and compliance requirements
- Proactive communicator who follows through
- Team-oriented and dependable
- Eager to grow within a fast-paces organization
