Position Title:
To be considered for this position you must complete the state application and attach all required documents through the Montana State Careers site tecareers.mt.gov.
This position is responsible for providing clerical and administrative support services to Child and Family Services social workers regarding foster care, investigative and licensing functions.
Responsibilities include:
1) Typing correspondence, forms, and other miscellaneous documents;
2) Maintaining and updating Foster Care and other child related records;
3) Assisting staff with maintaining demographic information.

Qualifications for this Career Opportunity- Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
- Ability to communicate both orally and in writing.
- Skill in researching.
- Preferred:
Knowledge of the social services systems related to child protection issues. - High school diploma or its equivalent.
- Two years of job related work experience in administrative support, receptionist or other related areas.

This position may be eligible for partial telework within the state of Montana. Specific conditions will be provided by the supervisor and must adhere to state policy.
This position may be eligible for a statutory $1.00 an hour base pay increase effective July 1, 2026.
This position is open until filled with frequent screening of applicants.
