As an Access Control Officer at a residential location, you will greet residents and guests, manage entry points, and verify credentials to support a smooth, welcoming experience. You will monitor activity, document security-related events, and communicate clearly with residents, staff, and local responders as needed.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification, authorizations, and/or visitor logs, and directing authorized persons to the appropriate locations.

+ Monitor entrances, gates, and common areas using visual observation and available systems, reporting unusual activity according to post orders.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and notifying the appropriate personnel.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of residential buildings, amenities, parking areas, and perimeter points, noting and reporting maintenance concerns and/or policy violations.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Security Experience ‐ 1+ Years.

+ Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet - preferred.

+ Access Control/Badge Experience - preferred.

+ Customer Service Experience - preferred.

+ Guard Card/License - preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
