The merchandiser will be an integral member of the field sales team. With a nearby support branch, this individual will promote our brands and product lines by visiting kitchen and bath (K&B) showrooms, fabricators, and design studios in the designated region. With corporate support, they would be responsible for the company s promotional and sales/marketing efforts in the region.

• Brand Development
• Engage business owners & other key decision makers through friendly, consistent and professional communications
• Qualify and evaluate potential showrooms for UMI displays and marketing efforts
• Identify opportunities for CR to improve the consumer experience in the marketplace
• Product Knowledge & Education
• Regularly conduct product informational updates, educating our retail sales partners and fabricators about CR and our lines of products
• During visits, obtain a better understanding of their business needs and potential sales opportunities for CR
• Customer evaluation and categorization of all customers assigned to your region, using existing sales intel reports to collect information CR requires to better serve clients and improve sales performance
• Maintain accurate customer information, including addresses and email addresses of all members of the client s team, updating the information in the inventory system
• Display maintenance and installation/deliveries and marketing collateral
• Ensure displays are in order, clean, and samples are in place; place orders for missing samples and ensure marketing collateral are in place (window decals, location cards, catalogs, updated price lists, etc.)
• Role is an outside field position (~80% field time) with some time spent at the assigned branch supporting customers, showing slabs, assembling displays, collecting samples, and assisting internal staff under supervision of the Branch Manager or executive team
• Merchandisers will be part of internal staff as needed and will participate in rotating Saturday schedules
• Merchandisers should expect to handle heavy lifting and load/unload displays up to 50 pounds
• Merchandisers will support distribution centers in their region

• EXCEPTIONAL organization and planning skills
• Energetic and confident in engaging with business owners and staff
• Very strong interpersonal communication skills
• Experience in sales, customer service or other people-oriented fields is preferred
• Ability to occasionally work extended hours on the weekend
• Must be over 21 years of age and have a good driving record
