Roofing Assistant-Foreman

Job Description
Well-established roofing company, in business for over 15-years, seeking an Assistant-Foreman with strong problem solving and customer service skills to be part of our team.

The successful applicant will be result oriented, positive, friendly and have at least 1-year prior experience. He/she will need to work together with our team to complete residential roofing construction/building projects successfully.

• Pull orders for new roofing jobs
• Pickup material from local vendors
• Perform light repairs on roofs, including ridge cap, painting, caulking, and light stucco
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse
• Professional interaction with customers, inspectors and building officials
• Haul dump trailers to job sites and local landfill
• Climb ladders (cannot be afraid of heights)
• Ability to stay organized
• Maintain inventory and inform office when inventory gets low

8-Hour shifts, including weekends.

Must have a willingness to travel to job sites and our main office/warehouse in Boynton Beach, Florida.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proficiency in English language both verbally and in writing
• Industrial mechanic experience (Preferred)
• Mechanical knowledge and understanding
• Electrical experience (Preferred)
• Ability to operate a forklift (Training Provided)
• Must hold a valid driver's license
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Previous experience in manufacturing or field service (Preferred)
• Ability to lift over 40lbs
• Climb ladders and not be afraid of heights
• Able to haul dump trailers to job sites and local landfill
• Ability to monitor/maintain and complete paperwork

EXPERIENCE:

• A MINIMUM 1-YEAR OF EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED
• Programmable logic controllers: 1 year (Preferred)
• Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)
