Fischetti Law Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Scheduling Assistant to join our litigation team. Our firm focuses on Personal Injury, Estate Planning, Consumer Protection, and Personal Injury Protection (PIP), with a heavy litigation presence throughout the State of Florida.
This position will work directly with the firm's litigation attorneys and alongside our existing litigation assistants. The right candidate will play a critical role in managing and coordinating the attorneys’ litigation calendars and ensuring matters move efficiently through the court system.
Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate all scheduling for two litigation attorneys, including:
- Court hearings (county & circuit court)
- Mediations
- Arbitrations
- Depositions
- Marketing and firm-related events
- Handle scheduling for approximately half of the firm’s litigation caseload, working closely with a dedicated legal assistant
- Schedule litigation matters across Florida courts (with the majority of cases in Miami-Dade County)
- Utilize and navigate the Florida Courts E-Portal and applicable scheduling portals
- Work within the firm’s centralized CRM system for scheduling and document generation
- Assist with automated document preparation (training provided)
- Maintain accurate calendars, deadlines, and follow-ups across multiple matters simultaneously
- Prior experience in legal scheduling or litigation support strongly preferred
- Familiarity with Florida county and circuit court scheduling
- Experience with the Florida Courts E-Portal and scheduling portals required
- Extremely detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Professional communication skills (written and verbal)
- Comfortable working with multiple attorneys and staff simultaneously
- Reliable, proactive, and team-focused
