Description- Filling and labeling medications
- Refilling Pyxis
- Delivering medications to patient care areas
- Preparing IV admixture solutions
- Answering the telephone and directing the call to the appropriate staff
- Maintaining medication stock levels
- Maintaining proper storage of medications to ensure safe and cost-effective pharmaceutical services
- Proficient in basic computer skills and appropriately uses information systems, technology and automation to complete assigned tasks
Estimated pay range for this position is $17.79 - $24.53 / hour depending on experience.
Qualifications- High School, Cert, GED, Trn, Exper.
- Registered Pharmacy Technician.
- One year pharmacy hospital technician experience (or equivalent experience) or graduate of the BHSF Pharmacy Technician Program.
- PTCB or ExCPT Certification preferred and required within the year for sterile compounding.
