Overview
Full charge accountant needed for a very busy property management accounting office. We specialize in accounting for Condos and Homeowner's Associations with more than 200 communities. This position requires accounting knowledge and experience. Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting preferred. Applicant must be self-motivated and able to work in a very fast paced environment. Attention to detail is a must!
Responsibilities- Prepare financial statements through close of month meeting deadlines
- High volume bank reconciliations completed timely and accurately
- Prepare journal entries including setting up recurring journal entries
- Review financial statements for accuracy and make necessary adjusting entries
- Prepare and update Insurance Schedules
- Post auditor's adjusting entries
- Budget preparation and entry
- Problem solving skills required
- Set up new communities in software to include setting up chart of accounts, beginning balances, and journal entries
- Accurate data entry
- Electronic filing including estimated tax payments
- Scanning
- ENUMERATE software experience a plus
- Must be proficient in Excel and Word
- Accounting experience required
- HOA accounting experience preferred
- Must understand accounting principles
- Must have strong attention to detail skills
- Must be punctual and have strong work ethics
