Grades 7-12 Industrial Arts Teacher

Qualified individuals should possess the following credentials/qualities:

• Hold a current and appropriate Kansas teaching license or qualify for and receive the initial teaching license at the appropriate grade level and in the assigned subject matter
• Be able to create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning
• Implement lesson plans that actively engage students and provide for the individual needs of students through a variety of appropriate teaching strategies and techniques
• Promote high standards for student performance, positive peer interactions and appropriate social behavior
• Work cooperatively with other school personnel and parents/guardians
• Adhere to USD 327 Board of Education approved policies and regulations
• Maintain open lines of communication with administrative personnel keeping them informed of issues potentially requiring their attention
• Be flexible and be able to perform other duties as deemed appropriate by the Building Principal
• Must be physically present in the classroom
