What You’ll Do- Developing methods, tooling, and techniques to reduce setup time, changeovers, and equipment operation effort
- Implementing cycle time reduction strategies in bottleneck manufacturing cells
- Troubleshooting machining processes and PLC programs (Siemens & Allen Bradley)
- Modifying manufacturing processes to enhance safety, quality, cost efficiency, or accommodate design changes
- Supporting financial goals through budgeting, expenditure scheduling, and project budget management
- Managing capital projects: equipment specs, runoffs, installation, and contractor coordination
- Updating and maintaining equipment and production layout drawings
- Developing engineering solutions for recurring equipment/process failures
- Identifying and delivering departmental training to boost skill levels
- Reviewing and coordinating TPM, PM, proactive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize uptime
- Owning PFMEA, control plans, and process flows in collaboration with the Quality Engineer
- Supporting shop floor teams with problem-solving and standard work instruction development
- Managing external contractors for process and equipment improvements
Collaborating across all levels to enhance machinery and manufacturing processes - Leading Kaizen activities and documenting outcomes
- Understanding key environmental aspects and related operational controls
- B.S. in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering (or related field)
- 2+ years of experience in high-volume machining, assembly, and automation
- Hands‑on experience with Lean Enterprise methodologies
- Must be fluent in English
- Must be able to work and travel independently
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Mfg Pro, Kronos
