Position Overview

Immediate opening for a SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver at Ryder in Bowling Green, KY. Driver will cover local routes in KY, IN, MS, hauling no‑touch auto parts with a day cab, dry van 53’. Salary is $1 230 or more per week plus miles, stops, drop‑and‑hook, shutdown, sign‑on, and safety bonuses.

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards, and guidelines.
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards; maintain accurate records and logs.
• Load and unload freight or assist the customer in the loading/unloading of freight as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass a Ryder drug test.
• Pass a Ryder background and motor‑vehicle check that verifies last three years of employment for drug and alcohol compliance.
• Pass a DOT physical and a Ryder road test.
• Provide a valid Class A CDL with necessary endorsements.
• Must have verifiable Class A tractor‑trailer experience:
  • 9 months within the last three years, OR
  • 2 years within the last five years, OR
  • 5 years within the last ten years.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
