HVAC Service Technician

Comfort Systems USA – Kentucky is seeking a skilled and dependable Commercial HVAC Technician to join our growing team in Bowling Green, KY. This role is ideal for a licensed journeyman technician who takes pride in quality workmanship, safety, and delivering excellent service to commercial customers.

What You’ll Do

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC systems, including rooftop units, split systems, boilers, and associated controls
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues and perform repairs efficiently
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and reliability
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Provide professional, courteous, and timely service to customers while on job sites
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding system conditions, repair options, and recommendations
• Ensure all work complies with local codes, manufacturer specifications, and company standards
• Complete service reports, work orders, and documentation accurately and timely
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Support project teams and assist with special assignments as needed

What We’re Looking For

• EPA Universal Certification required
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school training preferred
• Proven experience working on commercial HVAC systems
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to represent the company professionally
• Basic computer skills for service documentation and communication
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and time management skills
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
