Overview
- Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 4:00PM with frequent overtime available for Field Technicians.
- Compensation:
Starting wage of $31.00-$38.00/hr. based on skills/experience. Additional specialty incentives available. - Company truck (Field Technicians) and computer/tablet.

Service Technicians are responsible for diagnosing issues and performing standard general repairs on drive-train components, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on company and/or customers’ heavy equipment across shop and field settings while adhering to all safety regulations and contributing to a positive work environment. Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, and locate mechanical deficiencies on Heavy Equipment and develop logical conclusions and determine a repair solution based on education and experience.
Source and order parts as needed and Perform repair of mobile equipment in a field environment without supervision. May need to perform welding and brazing, fabricate and modify parts, equipment, and miscellaneous structures as needed. Must be decisive and able to recognize and support the organization’s goals and priorities.
Qualifications- Technical school graduate or experience with Volvo construction equipment preferred
- General knowledge, ability to diagnose, and capable of repairing of complex hydraulic, electrical, and drive-train systems
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical information from general hydraulic and electrical schematics
- Must possess and maintain acceptable safe driving record and pass DOT Medical Certification
