The role involves selling geospatial solutions to Department of Defense (DoD) agencies, with a focus on maintaining current customer relationships and fostering new business opportunities. The candidate will be responsible for creating and executing sales strategies to meet both immediate and long-term business goals within the specified market.

Furthermore, the candidate will seek out and capitalize on new business development opportunities within the DoD sector, utilizing their proficiency in government sales, geospatial hardware, and comprehensive software. Collaboration is crucial, and the candidate will engage remotely with cross-functional teams to guarantee customer satisfaction.

Success in this direct contributor role hinges on meeting and surpassing established sales targets, with the candidate's efforts being integral to the sales team's overall success. Delivering outstanding customer service is of utmost importance, along with crafting and presenting persuasive sales presentations and demonstrations. To aid the candidate's initiatives, they will consistently update CRM systems with customer details, sales activities, and opportunities, ensuring all data remains current and actionable.

The role also includes traveling to meet customers and participate in industry events, reinforcing Trimble's presence and reputation in the geospatial sector.
