Sales Associate (Part-Time) - Greenwood, Bowling Green, KY at DTLR, Inc.

We are looking for dedicated employees to join our team to help our customers have the best experience possible every time they enter a DTLR store. Our employees are key to our success.

• Drive selling efforts and customer relationships by excelling in customer service and selling techniques.
• Perform daily store functions including product merchandising, product sales, customer relations and store maintenance.
• Display basic fashion and trend knowledge and satisfy customer needs by selling appropriate merchandise while maintaining DTLR standards and building relationships.
• Assist with shipments, merchandising, restocking, and pricing.
• Present a positive, energetic impression to customers and maintain a positive attitude toward the job and company.
• Comply with all company policies; embrace service training and product programs.
• Follow visual standards, complete daily restocks, and represent adequate size runs per visual directions.
• Assist in reducing theft and help maintain a neat and orderly sales environment.
• Help keep the store organized as directed by store management.
• Perform other duties as may be assigned.

• Previous work experience in retail or customer service is preferred, but not necessary.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Excellent command of the English language to communicate with management, customers and other employees.
• Basic fashion and style trend knowledge; desire to work with customers in a retail setting.
• Problem-solving abilities, analytical abilities, detail orientation, flexibility, communication and interpersonal skills to provide excellent customer service, inventory control, merchandise transport, and store maintenance.

• Stand for extended periods; lift, carry, push/pull up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work extended hours during peak periods; fast-paced environment with flexibility.
• Reliable transportation.
