We have an immediate opening for the following position:
QUALITY INSPECTOR (2ND SHIFT) Purpose of Position:The Quality Inspector is an entry-level position responsible for performing basic product and process inspections to ensure conformance with company quality standards and customer requirements. This role supports manufacturing operations through inspection, documentation, and a strong willingness to learn quality processes and tools on the job.
Responsibility and Authority:- Perform in-process, incoming, and final inspections under established procedures and guidance.
- Identify and report product or process non-conformances.
- Support manufacturing and quality teams by providing inspection feedback.
- Follow documented quality system procedures and work instructions.
- Escalate quality concerns to the Quality Manager or designated lead as needed.
Inspection and Testing
- Perform routine inspections on products, components, and materials.
- Use basic measuring and inspection tools (training provided).
- Accurately record inspection results and findings.
- Complete inspection checklists and reports as required.
- Follow established quality control procedures and safety guidelines.
- Ensure inspected products meet defined specifications.
- Identify defects or non-conformances and communicate findings promptly.
- Work with production personnel to support issue resolution.
- Participate in on-the-job training related to quality inspection methods.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn new processes, tools, and quality concepts.
Position Requirements (Skills & Abilities) Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Entry-level position; prior quality or manufacturing experience is helpful but not required.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Willingness and eagerness to learn quality inspection processes.
- Basic communication skills, written and verbal.
- Ability to follow instructions and work procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Dependability and good attendance.
- Effective interpersonal skills.
