Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a night-shift Orthopedic Surgical position in Kentucky requiring a KY or compact RN license and recent specialty experience.

• Work in the Ortho Surgical unit of a hospital
• Patient population includes those requiring orthopedic surgical care
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment
• Deliver nursing care for patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries
• Night shift role may require a high level of autonomy and critical thinking
• Dress code or scrub color is not specified in the job description

• Active KY or compact RN license
• At least 1 year of recent experience in orthopedic surgical nursing
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS certification with no expiration within the first 30 days of assignment
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
