SummaryThe Housekeeper works in a fast-paced environment and adheres to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment. Candidates must be able to maintain good attendance and be reliable. They are responsible for maintaining facility cleanliness and sanitation.
Key Responsibilities- Use wheeled cart to carry cleaning supplies
- Clean offices, hallways, restrooms, breakrooms, and other work areas so that health standards are met
- Clean appliances, tables, chairs, and door handles
- Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
- Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners
- Empty wastebaskets and transport waste to disposal area
- Water plants in building
Education and/or
Experience:
- GED or High School diploma and 1-year work experience.
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing work tasks.
- Work in a safe manner
- Ability to stay focused on the job and avoid unnecessary distractions
- Ability to understand information and ideas presented verbally and/or written
- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods and complete repetitive tasks
- Must be able to lift between 15-30 pounds
- Must have manual dexterity to assemble wires and use machines as needed
- Ability to see details at close range (within 12 inches)
- Must wear all PPE as required by departmental needs
