Production Supervisor

Worksite Type:
Onsite Only

• Supervise represented hourly employees
• Lead day‑to‑day production operations on a rotating shift schedule (1st & 2nd every 3 months)
• Ensure high-quality vehicle builds; follow up on all non‑conformances
• Complete and approve daily employee time for payroll
• Drive throughput improvements and track efficiency metrics
• Assist in scrap reduction initiatives and departmental cost control
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve production or process issues
• Provide people leadership, handle minor grievances, and support UAW‑related communication
• Maintain a safe working environment and uphold plant policies
• Communicate across teams via meetings, chats, and cross‑department coordination

• Associate degree in Manufacturing or Business (required)
• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience
• Automotive manufacturing experience strongly preferred
• Demonstrated hands‑on leadership; team development vs. simple task delegation
• Strong critical‑thinking skills with examples of process improvement
• Mechanical aptitude: ability to identify bolts, threaded components, fenders, vehicle parts (no hands‑on tooling required)
• Must be comfortable working in a fast‑paced automotive environment
• Must work onsite; no hybrid/remote options

• Shift Rotation:
  • 1st Shift: 6:00 AM-2:30 PM (5:35 AM touchpoint)
  • 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM-11:30 PM (2:35 PM touchpoint)
• Attendance:
  Punctuality required; tardiness documented
• Overtime:
  As needed; optional based on candidate preference & coverage
• Assignment Duration: 52 weeks with potential extension
• Driving Requirement:

  None

For this opportunity, the successful candidate will be directly employed by Bartech Staffing as a W2 employee while providing services to our client. Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S. and available to start immediately.
