Quality Engineer

Immediate opportunity for a Quality Engineer at our Bowling Green, Kentucky Stamping Facility. The role focuses on analyzing all manufacturing stages to maximize product quality. The ideal candidate has prior knowledge of preventive planning, corrective actions, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. • Oversee root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process/product related concerns
• Enhance the Quality System with continuous improvement activities such as 5S, Kaizen, and lean methods
• Develop, implement, and participate in training to build/improve quality awareness among new and existing employees
• Coach, mentor, and support a team of Quality Inspectors
• Analyze failure and preventive actions to ensure timely resolution of all customer concerns/complaints
• Plan, organize, and maintain quality documentation
• Manage supplier performance and conduct internal/external audits
• Evaluate and examine the company’s product specifications to meet customer requirements

• 3 years of supervisory or related work experience in a manufacturing/production environment
• Post-secondary education or equivalent
• Ability to retain information and communicate effectively, both written and oral
• Ability to stand for long periods of time/lift 23 kg (50 lbs)
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Able to work 3-shift model:
  Midnights, Days, Afternoons, and required OT

• 5 years of supervisory or related work experience in a manufacturing/production environment
• Experience with computerized living documents (PFMEA, Control Plan, PPAP)
