Production Supervisor

Overview

Our client, a leading Auto-parts manufacturing company, is seeking a Production Supervisor 2 to join their team. As a Production Supervisor 2, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting production operations.

Job Title: Production Supervisor 2

Location: Bowling Green, KY

Pay Range: $23-$26 per hour

Supervisors rotate every 3 months on shifts between 1st and 2nd shift.

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of production and operating workers on assigned shifts.
• Recommend measures to motivate employees and improve production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.
• Review operations and collaborate with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing issues.
• Develop and implement production tracking and quality control systems, analyzing production, quality, and maintenance data to identify problems.
• Hire, train, evaluate, and discharge staff, and resolve personal grievances.

• High school diploma or GED required;
  Associate's degree in business or related field preferred.
• 2-4 years of experience supervising production units in manufacturing environments.
• Verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and machinery maintenance.

• Competitive hourly pay rate of $26.15 per hour.
