Tooling Technician – Cleveland-Cliffs

Join Cleveland-Cliffs Tooling and Stamping division in Bowling Green, Kentucky for an immediate opportunity as a Tooling Technician. The role is responsible for ensuring tooling meets process expectations. The ideal candidate will have good manual dexterity, be detail-oriented, self‑motivated, and thrive in a fast‑paced work environment.

• Compute dimensions and tolerances to set up machine tools.
• Position, secure, measure and work metal stock or castings to lay out for machining.
• Assemble and disassemble parts to test completed tools, dies, jigs or fixtures for proper operation.
• Work directly with suppliers to design or build solutions that ensure tooling expectations are met.
• Analyze manufacturing repairs and adjustments to formulate solutions in standardized situations.

• 5 years of related work experience.
• Trade certification.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering documents and write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• Able to work a 3‑shift model: midnights, days, afternoons, and required overtime.

• 5 years of related experience working in a manufacturing environment.
